In that case I was probably wrong about the way "lorry" would be respelt in Truespel. I suppose that Truespel would have it respelt "loree". Either way it's all about accent specifically about /o/. To me "lorry" and "story" don't rhyme. To me there is an /o/ sound in "lorry" but there is no letter for it in Truespel ... or is there? |
