like languages? don't vote for EU elections

Anti-Totalitarianism   Tue May 12, 2009 8:27 am GMT
Dear European Friends,
As you may be aware, European Union Elections are approaching. I urge you not to vote for these pathetic excuses for modern Day Imperialism. Please, refrain from supporting the beurocratic, Soviet-esque leaders in Brussels who are undemocratic (because who voted for Barroso?). These men and women will turn Europe into a Soviet Union style totalitarian state destined to failure and costing many lakefuls of human blood. Also, since this is a language forum, keep in mind that although they appear tolerant at the moment, it's only a matter of time before they use the financial crisis as an excuse to stop translating, and slowly purge minority and unwanted majority languages from society. Each European country will lose it's unique cultural heritage and all things European will be merged into an invented Pan-European Culture, which consists basically of whatever Germany and France decide is "culture", and no one else has a say. Also, these bafoons will allow Turkey and Ukraine to join the European Union and hence will swamp us with immigrants. Immigants from Turkey are known to not integrate (look at Germany), as are immigrants from Ukraine. Eventually the EU will after at least 50 years of cultural infringements weaken as the people realise what is happening. Nationalism will surge and war will outbreak and many old enmities will be reignited and killing will become everyday business for Europeans.
Thus I urge you not to support the Hegemony. It will only end in tears!

What a ridiculous comment!

The European Union has brought peace in the last 50 years! It has encouraged cooperation, trade and neighbourly relations between its nations. And it promotes multilingualism.

<<Also, these bafoons will allow Turkey and Ukraine to join the European Union and hence will swamp us with immigrants. >>

But won't you then gain the option of moving to Turkey or Ukraine?

Best bet would be to go all out and admit the various African and Middle Eastern nations into the EU. That would really open up lots of new possibilities for adventurous Europeans.

And, if you don't like EU domination by Germany and France, allow China, India, Russia, etc. to join as well, to dilute the influence of France or Germany.

Why would anyone want to move to these third world countries?

Urging Euroscpetics to boycott the elections, eh? Would that not pave the way for Europhile domination of the European Parliament and ever-increasing powers for the EU?

I don't lean either way, but as a third-party observer, I find your arguments a bit counter-intuitive.

No, because if you vote then it means you're accepting that their rules are the legitimate ones to be played by. You cannot partake in a system you despise in order to defeat it, it's fighting fire with fire. If no one in a country votes and expresses angry anti-EU sentiments (rioting) then the governemnt will be obliged to listen to the citizens and withdraw from the EUSSR.

European Union is trying to protect minority languages, but one of EU members isn't:
<<In 1999 the Socialist government of Lionel Jospin signed the Council of Europe’s European Charter for Regional or Minority Languages, but it was not ratified. The Constitutional Council of France declared that the implementation of the Charter would be unconstitutional since the Constitution states that the language of the Republic is French.

The European Charter for Regional or Minority Languages is a European convention (ETS 148) adopted in 1992 under the auspices of the Council of Europe to protect and promote historical regional and minority languages in Europe, ratified and implemented by 17 States, but not by France (as of 2007[update]).>>

rep,

Good point. And we must remember that the French demagogues hold massive influence in the EU, so it is highly likely that their contempt for everything will be forced on the other members and adopted by the whole EU. All they need to do is convince Germany and then that's the end of the matter. And Germans also have a historical penchant for oppressing minorities so it's more than likely. So we must get out now before it's too late. Don't let's return the borders of Eerope to their 1814 status or their 1941 status!

Fuckin France is the cause of 90% of wars in the last 1000 years of Europe. We have enough of these hooligans, they have always been favorited without any reason and they cause only problems.
France, Germany and England are the pests of Europe (and the world together with United States of Ameretards).
