Do you think English is beautiful?
no -- it just sounds like a typical language to me -- sor of neutral.
Perhaps I'm biased, as a native speaker.
The written language is pretty nice, without all those pesky accentmarks that you so often see in languages. Of course, both Spanish and French (and probably others) would look really nice in print, without accents.

What's wrong with accents?
I like accents, they add character to a language. Languages without accents look hyperbland.

It is just a series of noises, like any other animal vocalisation.
Only halfwits make a fuss about particular words or languages.

I agree that accents look like crap. They were not originally supposed to be there.
Where were they supposed to be?
The letters they now adorn were supposed to be plain.

Written English is very ugly. English is supposed to be written in runes.
Germanic languages are not supposed to be writen.
I like how it sounds, but I'm a native English speaker.

English does strike me as a pretty neutral language somehow, not particularly beautiful but not ugly and harsh either. I suppose it seems a bit flat somehow.

English seems like a fairly watered down Germanic language. It is rather bland and women sound relatively unsexy speaking it - Americans sound overly nasal and Antipodean ones sound squeaky and annoying.
English is Dutch diluted by French, with the ensuing effects.
