Vietnamese people- how many of you can read Han du well?

Moreover, do you feel the need to increase the Han du literacy in Vietnam? Or do you think it's inefficient?

I work in a place that's practically in the center of a large Asian community. There's a huge number of Chinese (Cantonese), Vietnamese, Malaysian, and Thai establishments. Practically every Vietnamese I've come across spoke Cantonese. I think the only impediment to han tu literacy in Vietnam is that it isn't standardized and there is no official support for it.
