Hi i was hoping someone would be willing to help me with this. I need to tell my aunt that i had an operation on my neck but that i am fine now. my german is very, very limited although i usually understand if she speaks to me slowly.

Am letzten Freitag hatte ich eine Operation am Hals. Ich hatte dort eine Geschwulst, die der Arzt entfernt hat. Ich fühle mich jetzt besser, aber es tut immer noch etwas weh.

The word ''neck'' can be translated as ''Hals'' or as ''Nacken''. Here, the former would more mean the front side, the latter the back side. If it was on the back, replace Hals by Nacken.

The word ''dort'' relates to the word ''Hals'', so you needn't repeat that word. The word 'die' relates to 'Geschwulst''.
