Bilingual dictionary - book or DVD-ROM?

@Tom: Thanks Tom for wanting to put one of my messages in your blog. I feel honoured!

Question: Which is better, having a large bilingual dictionary where you physically turn the pages or a DVD-ROM bilingual dictionary for the PC?

Any thoughts on this? I have a feeling I may know what your answer is going to be.

Which type of dictonary is going to make you learn more? For me, the answer is always "a software dictionary" -- I can look up words more quickly and, generally speaking, I can take it with me more easily.

On the other hand, if you're the type of person who is uncomfortable using a computer, or likes to leaf through a dictionary and learn random words, you might want to get a book dictionary. I wouldn't recommend it, though. :)
