Have you used music to help learn a language?

Do you find Portuguese fado suitable to learn the language?
Isn't it like listening to opera to learn Italian?

But yeah, I'm learning Japanese, and I try listening all kinds of Japanese music, all seem good enough to practice. So I get the point.
