  1. A politician is a person who has power in a country, or wants to have power. When a politician is in power, he or she makes important decisions which affect the entire country. Examples of politicians are: senators, ministers, the President, the Prime Minister, etc. Politicians are usually members of political parties.
    The minister is a popular politician, because he managed to decrease the crime level.
    We have an alarming situation: People don’t trust politicians, and they don’t want to participate in democratic elections.
    The problem of poverty isn’t something which can be solved by politicians. The people must do their best themselves to do something valuable, and earn money.
