I think that South Dakota has many different accents. There's a part of it that has a Midwestern sounding accent, and another part of it that has a Western sounding accent. I know about 3 people from SD and 1 had the Midwestern sounding one, it almost sounded like a Chicago accent or something. The other two had rather unremarkable accents that sounded pretty much the same as a California accent.

Heh interesting accent there Francis. I cant really place it not being that experienced at accents from the North American continent.
