Which is easier to learn? Persian or Turkish?

Which is more worthy of learning for Westerners?

I wish somebody could explain them in detail.

I can't go into detail as I'm not on authority on either, but Turkish is apparently relatively simple as far as agglutinative languages go (for speakers of non-agglutinative languages), but Farsi is actually related to English (albeit distantly), so I would bet Farsi is probably going to be easier...

Then again, the Turkish alphabet is Latinate...
