Traditional Chinese=Latin
Traditional Chinese characters used to be part of traditional Kanji.
I have a question:
Why those fucking linguists who have the strong prejudice against China doesn't criticize Japan who has simplified their Kanji. Why criticizing China?
I think those fucking linguists are too ridiculous.
Traditional Chinese = Ancient Latin of China , Japan,Korea,Vietnam.
Simplified Kanji = Modern Japanese
Simplified Chinese = Modern Chinese
Let's figure out:
if Japanese Communist Party has taken power of "Socialist Republic of Japan", those western linguists will criticize Japan for destroying Japanese culture , no doubt.
all theories coming from western govt hired linguists are too political and their theories are always nothing to do with linguistics. That's democracy they have made.
Fortunately, our great Russia is too powerful , so those westerners can't do nothing against us.

Latin is still used by minority at church now. So, it makes sense TC is latin.

The "script" and "writing" (written language) are two different concepts:
Traditional Chinese (Character; script) is not sense to Ancient Latin (written languages) of China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam.
Simplified Chinese (Character; script) is not sense to Modern Chinese (written language)
Simplified Kanji (letter; script) is not sense to Modern Japanese (written language)
Traditional Chinese (Character; script) is NOT Latin (spoken or written languages) , Latin is NOT used any more, but Traditional Chinese (Character; script) is still used in Taiwan, Hongkong, and Macau.

The Written Mandarin Chinese has three kinds of scripts in its history:
1. Simplified Chinese Character - used in China, Singapore, and Malaysia. Traditional Chinese Character - used in Taiwan, Hongkong, and Macau.
2. Roman Alphabet - used in China and Russia (Mandarin speaking communities) before 1950s.
3. Cyrillic Alphabet - used in Central Asia. (Mandarin speaking communities)
The Classical Chinese (written language) is mean as the Latin (written language). This Classical Chinese is not used from 1920s because the governments decided to promote the Spoken and Written Mandarin as a new spoken and written language among the all Chinese population, although that Chinese ethnicities have their own native spoken languages for several centuries. We can say that the Written Mandarin is a new Written Latin among the Ethnic Chinese Groups.
I hope you're joking. Russia isn't powerful - anybody can brag about having nuclear weapons - or, of course, they could GET A LIFE.
< Simplified Kanji (letter; script) is not sense to Modern Japanese (written language)
Sorry,
I make a mistake for the meaning of Kanji. The Kanji is mean "character", not the "letter".
Simplified Kanji (character; script) is not sense to Modern Japanese (written language)
<<TC is latin>>
You mean Latin = Traditional Chinese, or Latin is the European counterpart of TC.
Chinese culture preceeds and supercedes Italic culture.
Our ancestors were civilized human beings with a cultured society while the Romans were still swinging from trees.
As Clover said, it is true that the Chinese culture evolved before the Italic culture. However, Chinese is not a waste of time; it's a huge language, and rising in importance - many people see this as a reason to learn it.
