Does anyone here know Armenian? Is it hard? Where can I learn it?
Armenian
No grammatical genders. Just like Persian and English (among the IE languages). It makes things easier.
Your best bet for learning Armenian is if you already know Russian, which is the language in which most Armenian related material is published.
It's quite useless to learn Armenian if you don't live in Armenia. Even there most people can speak Russian..
People have different reasons for learning languages. Perhaps it is a heritage language for the poster or perhaps the poster is going on a medical mission trip and just wants to learn some basics.
