Brilliant green

Hi,
Here all families have such antiseptic liquids as brilliant green and iodine in their medicine chest to apply to a bad scratch or a skinned knee.
“Brilliant green” is too long a word, I am guessing there must be some short equivalent. I wonder what it is.

Thanks.

I prefer "retarded green".

How about using the real name, instead:

N-[4-[[4-(Diethylamino)phenyl]phenylmethylene]-2,5-cyclohexadien-1-ylidene]-N-ethylethanaminium sulfate
