Salty --> Saldy

I don't tap T's after L's, so salty is never saldy, but I heard some people do that. Is it common? I don't think it is, and I think my way is how most American pronounce it.

However, I tap it if the L is part of another word, so "be able to do it" becomes "be able duh do it".

Am I doing well? Or am I doing good? ;-)

Saldy or Salry (with the spanish intervocalic r)?

salty ---> saldy is voicing, not tapping
salty ---> salry is tapping (flapping)
