Some languages don't even have proper superlatives - such as French.

Whereas the English can say "taller" the French can only say "plus grand(e)" - "more tall".

Jean est plus grand que Luc - Jean is taller than Luc (John is more tall than Luke)

Yes, Kirk. These sorts of words are used by American toddlers when they first begin to talk and are quickly corrected by their parents and others as "bad English."
