Isn't it ironic that the one language, whose speakers destroyed this forum into the troll cesspool it is today are rewarded in this way?
Ironic tales from Antimoon: The French spam answer
Obviously the forum moderator and administrator are not French.
But the initial trolls on this forum (before being followed by a whole array of others) were all Francophone.

Long ago, we also had the "Germanics" vs the "Latins", so it's not clear if the current Francophones are the originals who "destroyed" this forum.
Actually, way back when, there were spam/flooding attacks that were a lot worse. Apparently, the 10-times-per-day max posting limit took care of that threat.

Antimoon closed for a few weeks following a thread flooding attack a few years ago. That was when the languages forum was introduced and greg stopped posting in English.

Actually. "We" had a small group of Francophones who behaved incredibly chauvinistically towards French and incredibly hostile towards the English language.
In their chauvinism they tried to evoke 'Latin' ancestry and brought forth a fictional concept known as "Latin culture". Subsequently they mirrored these concepts with "Germanic culture" and coined "Germanics" as a word.

I didn't know greg could post in English! Did he reeally used to?

If we could use accents, I'd suggest "It is white" in Navajo. As far as I know, no one has been upset by Native American threads. Btw, one of the most interesting polyglots and linguists of recent times was Kenneth Hale who knew some languages from Arizona tribes (maybe Tohono-Oodham, but I'd have to check.)
Pourquoi écrivez-vous en langue homosexuelle?

If you're looking to shut down posting almost compeltely, this would be a great question. Alternatively, you could require an answer in some non-Latin alphabet that requires Unicode.

Actually. "We" had a small group of Hispanics who behaved incredibly chauvinistically towards Spanish and incredibly hostile towards the English language.
