ought, quite rather

Are the following used as often in America as in the UK?

"ought"- i ought to do that, you ought to talk to him, you ought not talk about people behind their backs ...

"rather/quite" - it's rather/quite good, i saw (a rather)/(quite a) sexy girl, that's rather/quite interesting

They're used, but not nearly as much as in BE

"ought to" or "outta" is used a lot in the US.

Oh also I forgot: In the converse direction, is "pretty" used as much in the UK as in America with the same meaning as "rather/quite" as above?
