How do you guys go about learning words which have many different meanings, should I learn them all at once or one at a time.

Well, I don't know many people who can learn several meanings of one word all at once. You've got to have exceptional memory to do that. What really works for me is I read lot of texts and essays in English - this is how I remmember new words. I think one word at a time is better.

I think that learning a 10 new words a day is a good goal for any language you are learning if you are doing it through self-study.

Otherwise, you might learn more than that subconsciously through practice with native speakers.

hi,

interacting with native speakers serves you better to learn the different meanings of a one word. in general, i think that learning new vocabs in a 'context' --either by speaking or by reading-- is better than just looking them up in a dictionary and try to memorize'em.
