Well, I listen to Backstreet Boys' hit "Everybody", they just sing "Every bah-they", not "Everybody", but in real pronunciation, they were just singing in a wrong way.
"Everybody" in different sounds
Ev'rybuddy? with the stress on the second syllable? that sounds odd. I pronounce it like "every body".
Well, I usu'lly jus' say "e'r'buh'y" / "3r\ b@ i /

I believe Kaeops' apostrophe was in reference to an unpronounced vowel, not stress.
But yes, in normal speech the word is pronounced something like "every buddy". But in singing on a dragged-out note, the first vowel of "buddy" sounds more like [aaaa]. A schwa is an ugly sound to sing a long note on.
