what english sounded like to you, before you learned it? im doing a project to see if languages actually sound the way they "sound" (it's complicated -__-;)

Regarding the thread heading, Alex.....please consult your dictionary or your teacher. Very often written English doesn't quite resemble the way it's spoken.
