I love Norway and decided to learn Norwegian :)
<<Learning any language is pointless if you speak english>>
Nonsense, what if you go to live in a part of the world where English is not readily understood?
<<I love this country from my childhood and it is absolutely irrational, I even can't explain it for myself :) >>
Then go there and preach the gospel to them!
French are not latins. They are more like norwegian/german/icelandic.
Spaniards are more like portuguese/chielan/mexican.
Their culture is related to hispanic america culture(hasta la vista, caliente, exotic, football, tropicaliente, banana etc) even the music styles and clothes are the same.
Even the portuguese are whiter than spaniards.
French are not Germanics. They are more like Moroccoan/Algerian/Portuguese.

Really? I'm French and I like black men but a Portuguese will do the trick too I think.

SHUT UP!
If someone wants to learn Norwegian it's not your problem..
And you wrote Norsk Wrong, lol -.-
I'm Norwegian so I know.
And I hate Mcdonalds, I don't understand why so many eat there,
And I'm Not found of american music either..
Why do all of you say it's easy for an English Speaker to learn Norwegian.
It's not! Our Pronunication Is very difficult, and our language's grammar isn't so easy either..
I have an American teacher In my School and his pronunication sucks !
He's been here for several years but still his pronunication sucks..

I suppose there are many words with common Germanic roots but - like you say - the pronunication bears no relation to English. I'm a native English speaker and I can also speak German. But when I watch a Scandanavian film I can't understand anything.
