I'm referring to the pronunciation in American English of the word towards, as I've basically heard two ways of pronouncing it, I'd like to know if the difference of pronunciation is regional-based, and in what regions is each pronunciation prevalent.

I don't know the answer to your question, but I am from California and I say "tords". I don't know if it's region-based though.
