Greetings, I'm trying to study different American accents and I'm not sure about the accent of Luke Perry

I mean, has he a California accent, or an East coast accent or a Midwestern accent? I'd really appreciate any answer.

He does not sound Californian, he sounds Midwestern, with just a slight bit of Northern Cities Vowel shifting (his ''cast'' sounds like [kɛst]), but nothing to worry about (He's from central to northern Ohio).

The woman's accent is much nicer, Californian (but not Valley Girl).
