This/That is in French

Hi everybody,

I wish to ask the native or fluent French speakers in this forum if it's OK to use the ff.

C'est ci bon instead of ceci est bon for this is good.
C'est là bon instead of cela est bon for that is good.

Are the two forms correct/akward or what?

I'm a native French speaker, and I can tell you that they aren't grammatically correct at all.
And if you say "c'est ci bon", people will understand "c'est si bon" (it's so good)

I never figured out where to use cela and ca (with cedilla), or ceci vs ci?

cela = ça
"cela" is just more formal

"ci" cannot be used by itself. celle/celui/celles/ceux-ci.
this/these one(s).

ceci = this.
