Will Dutch ever die out?

It is true that blacks have inferior IQ, but they have superior dicks and that is what counts for us Afrikaaners.

Take your dick and go rape some other country.. we are not interested in you. Get over it... we will never, not now or not in a million years be interested in your black dick or even pretend we like you... We don't!

Dutch and Afrikaans is mutually intelligible in very high degree:

I had thought that one of the first languages to die out and be replaced by English was the language the Irish originally spoke.
Are the Irish also spineless?

The only monument in the world dedicated to the Dutch language is in South Africa.

http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nederlandse_taalmonument

The English colonialist tried to remove this statue and the Dutch language from South Africa but failed.

In 1907 the British government replaced the original statue that got damaged during the Anglo-Boer war with a replica out of honour to the Afrikaaners.

So as you can see ladies and gentleman not even the mightiest British Empire of all time, could remove Dutch (which later become Afrikaans ) in South Africa.

The language is alive and kicking. And in fact the more Afrikaans people get opressed the more people will continue to fight to preserve it.

In South Africa, Afrikaans remains the largest language for the whole of the western part of South Africa, but the government try their best to remove it. They will fail just like the English failed!

Dutch and Afrikaans is here to stay!

Dumb African negroes clear whitey (who burnt down both the Zimbabwean cricket academy and cricket Headquarters) on account that whitey is mentally ill! Very same fat retarded Afrikaaner immigrant/arsonist Mark Vermuelen cops 10 year ban for throwing rock hard ball at little English girl during tinpot cricket match in England between Ashton and Werneth. Goes on to tool up with makeshift spear before getting decked and his skull battered to bits by 60 year old Scottish skinhead...

Exactly! Just look at Namibia. They declared English as the only official language and made the British monarchy its head of state when it was initially colonized by Germany and seized by SA during WWII. It has no colonial or cultural ties with UK in the first place.

But Afrikaans is the lingua franca or the inter-ethnic language of the nation not English. Only a small percentage speak English and almost 100% speak Afrikaans either as first or second language. Non-native speakers of Afrikaans in Namibia speak it from at least halfway between basic and proficient or between fluent and native speakers level.

The more the government tries to opress the Afrikaans language the more people will fight, and in fact the latest figures shows Afrikaans is actually growing. If you opress a language it makes people want to protect the language even more.

I agree, the language everyone in Namibia can speak and understand is Afrikaans but English is the ONLY official language although very few people speak English. But the government tries to force English onto everyone. Really pathetic!

Why do people end up talking about Spanish in all threads? Well, now that you cite Spanish let me tell you that Spanish is a divine language. I am a divine person so I speak Spanish.

The resilience of Afrikaans is truly remarkable. By making English the de facto language of government, as well as granting official status to a host of indigenous tongues, Afrikaans was supposed to curl up and die.

Except it didn't, it is arguably more popular than ever and some of the country's biggest selling publications are written in Afrikaans, proving that it still has a strong literary presence.
