Not that this can't be true, but more likely than not, if he* was from USA, he'd speak English already. We have foreigners, of course, but there are English-learners all across the globe. So I see no reason that he must be from the USA. *I'm not sure if you are a girl or a boy since I could not access the sample.

I'd say you're Russian... Eastern European, at the very least.

Clearly, the link doesn’t work for me! I have as yet tried it, many times. So, could go to another site and put up your recording out there? Plus attach the lyrics (this should be a must!). For example, I’m much more familiar with the Yahoo Briefcase. If you are in agreement, you can create a folder, put the file in it and have it shared with us at Yahoo Briefcase. You will also need to post your: 1/ password, and 2/ Yahoo ID. These two will make the file accessible to all of us. I would gladly have a closer look at your recording. Even though I’m a native speaker of Polish I hope I can be of some help to you. You can see some information about me in the thread: What’s your English accent like? I guess you are Russian.
