I finally managed to get enough nerve to ask her to dance
Or,
I finally managed to get up enough in nerve to ask her to dance
Which one do you think sounds better? Perhaps both need some more rephrasing?

You can't say "in" in that sentence.
Thank you very much for your replies.

Could any one please tell me whether the following sentence is right or wrong? and why or why not? :
"You have to have done this."

"You have to have done this" means the same thing as "You must have done this."
You have to have doing this is not correct, because you never use have + doing.
