Ok. I know it's not technically a language, I don't even know if it is a dialect. I want to move Canada in a few years but I figure I'll stand a better chance of getting there if I can speak French. I learnt German at school and will be continuing it at university next year so I'm going to have to teach myself french from books and the internet, etc. I've found a couple of french language canadian radio stations on the internet and a few books but there are so many different books out there that they're kinda confusing. Can anyone recommend a good book or website? Thanks.
Canadian French
ou comptes tu aller au Canada ? La connaissance du Français est indispensable pour vivre et s'intégrer au Québec, importante mais secondaire au nouveau Brunswick et Ontario et quasiment inutile ailleurs.
Greg can you also suggest a site in English on the topic of Quebecios Language and culture? I would like to learn the difference between Standard French and Quebecios French.
Thankyou
Thankyou

Guest - I know French is most useful in those regions but in order to get into the country I have a better chance if I can speak both of the official languages.
Thanks to everyone who posted website links. I think I better learn some more french before I can try to navigate Greg's suggestion.
