"to my eyes" or "in my eyes"

If you're talking about an object getting into someone's eyes... then "in my eyes" would be right.
oh, I should have given out the context.
"To my eyes our current president is an even more incapable person than the last one" any comments?
The usual expressions are:
IN my eyes TO my ears IN my mind (can sometimes be TO my mind, but that's less common) Yes, you can say "in many people's eyes".
I should add that things can also be ON your mind, but that's slightly different than IN your mind.
