I posted it in another thread but no one replied so I ask again.
If I ask somebody 1) not to drink 2) come home early, can I just simply say do not drink and come home early? I feel it sounds like I ask one to neither drink nor come home early.
Another question, there is this sentence what is the difference between British accent and American accent. Note the word accent is singular. So should I say what is the difference between British and American accent, or what is the difference between British and American accent(s) so that I won't change anything of the original setence? I'm not sure if I should add that little s after accent cos it might be needed as I'm talking about two accents here then it's plural. Thank you.
