Which one is correct?
1) I work at the university. 2) I work in the university. Thanks in advance.
"At" is the correct preposition here. "In" does not sound too awkward and sometimes may be acceptable. But nine times out of ten, you would use "at."
I actually live quite close to the University. It is interesting to note that you work close by the University. Perhaps we can meet sometime, and go out for a drink.
I also have a friend who works at the University. She works in the Zoology Building. I can see this topic is just going to run and run. |
