What does "backassward" mean?

What does "backassward" mean?

Yes the term is ass backwards as mjd says. The 'backasswards' is really a play on words, that is the word in itself is ass backwards. Either way not really a polite saying.

I've always heard it as "bassackwards".., almost always pronounced as "bass'ackerdz", :-P lol but whether it's backassward or bassackwards , it's all the same deal.. meaning "ass backwards"..
