Easy but Widely spoken languages?

Yes, have you got any language that you know such?

I've heard Indonesian and Swahili are both pretty easy...

Aside from that I'm gonna have to go with English and Spanish...

For Germanic languages, definitely English.
Romance languages, Spanish.
Slavic, Bulgarian.
Celtic, Irish.

That's off the top of my head... Feel free to correct...
