How do you say "Gay" in your language?
How do you say "Gay & Lesbian" in your language?
I want to know inoffensive and friendly terms of referring "Homosexual"!!
In English: gay, queer
In German: schwul (only for male homosexuals), lesbisch (female h.), vom anderen Ufer, andersrum, linksgestrickt
omosessuale, gay (m), lesbica (f)
<<omosessuale, gay (m), lesbica (f) >>
which language is this please?
Spanish: parchita, pargo, pato. It depends what country in SouthAmerica you are. These words belong to slang in Venezuela.
I think that in Spanish we may not have an exact equivalent. Obviously, as Guest above pointed out, there are dozens of words to call a gay person. But in essence, the word "gay" is a neutral word, it has no negative connotations (when used in the sense "homosexual", not in the sense "lame"). In Spanish, "homosexual" is a tad too technical, and the others are mostly offensive (in the River Plate: maricón, trolo, puto, etc.) a sad fact, which may or may not reflect something about our societies. The word "gay" has then been borrowed, at least in some circles.
In Dutch that would be:
for males: homofiel or homosexueel or shortened: homo
for females: lesbienne
French
Male: Gay; Homosexuel; Homo
Female: Lesbienne; Homosexuelle; Homo
There are many more but those are the only ones that are totally politically correct.
<<<<omosessuale, gay (m), lesbica (f) >>

That's Italian ;)

in french,
Finochio, pédé, pédéraste, tapette.
<<Finochio, pédé, pédéraste, tapette>>
Guest, Superdavid asked for "inoffensive and friendly terms". Those are usually not, even though they can be meant differently depending on who's using them.
In Quebec French it's fifi(fagot) and fifine(lesbian).
In Peruvian Spanish:
'boyo' (gay male)
I don't know of a friendly one for lesbians maybe 'les'. Although I don't think many people use it, at least not as much as 'boyo'.

in french there is also: tante, tantouze, tarlouze. Mais le plus virulent est bien "Finochio"
I'm French and i have never heard the word "finochio". Is it a regional word?
