No. What are you trying to express with "disconnection"? A short in the wires or it being unplugged?
No, not unplugged. The wire can be broken in the flex or somewhere inside the device. Or it’s called a breakage?
I think we usually say "not making a connection" or "the wires are broken" or "not connecting". Don't know why we like the longer way, but we do. "Disconnected" almost always refers to being unplugged or cut off from service, rather than being physically damaged.
