What is the right pronounciation of the word ' says "

What if "says" is followed by "to"? This depends on the person.

I do not speak English, just in case.

Apparently it's just me, Eito! I think when I am speaking quickly, and "says" is an unstressed part of the sentence, I tend to soften it to "sess". But it's not a hard and fast rule even then.
