Do you scared when your opponents are strong?

I am an English major in university, several days before I wrote an artcle for a comosition competition. Now I get a chance to enter the final. But I clearly know it was my fluent speaking English but not the beautiful language win this opportunity. I am scared, my opponents are very strong. I feel a little bit scared.
