agree?

i have a problem with this construction
'is everyone agreed?'
i dont think i understand it right, could someone please explain?
id rather use 'do you agree?' or sth similar, am i wrong?

You can say "Does everyone agree?" or "Is everyone in agreement?"

As far as I see it, a group of people can be agreed.

E.g. Are we all agreed?

"Is everyone agreed?" sounds a bit unusual, but not grammatically incorrect. I can imagine native speakers saying it, but it's definitely not something I'm likely to say. "Are we all agreed?" sounds a bit better... I think it's because it's plural, whereas "everyone" is singular in your sentence. But "Do you agree?", "Does everyone agree?", or "Is everyone in agreement?" all sound more natural to me.

Note that "Is everyone in agreement?" could be asked of a group deciding something amongst themselves -- that is, "Does everyone agree with each other?" -- but "Do you agree?" can only mean, "Does everyone agree with me?" I would be inclined to interpret "Does everyone agree?" the same way, as well.
