"L" in calm.

What do you guys think about the spelling pronunciation of this one? Do you guys use it or not?

The reason for this post is that lately I've noticed more and more people using the spelling pronunciation, which to me honestly sounds terrible.

I say /kQm/, how do you guys say it?

I pronounce it /kAm/ with central-to-back unrounded A .

I say /kQlm/ with an ever so slight pronunciation of the 'l'

I pronounce it ["k_hA:m], with a near-back unrounded vowel like Milton's. The same goes for "calm, balm, palm, psalm, alms" for me, but I pronounce "almond" as ["Q:5m@nd], analogous to "almost" ["Q:5m7Ust].
