Pronunciation of Labov

How is Labov pronounced in XSAMPA? (as in William Labov)

According to this page ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Reference_desk/Archives/Language/2007_January_10 ), the correct pronounciation, interdialectally, is /l@"bo:v/; but the intuitive pronunciation that I've tended to use is /"le:bQv/ (=["leIbQ:v] for me). Another pronunciation that may be common is /l@"bQv/.
