The ending of a letter

Hey all. Right now I am writing a letter to my friend who is having he birthday coming up. I wanted to make a nice present by giving her a picture of herself that I took when we were playing in the snow once and then write a letter on the back. Ive written a letter and according to my other friend, it sounds very romantic.

My only problem is I don't know how to end it. I don't want to say "Love" because that sounds to forthcoming but "Your friend" sounds too dull for me. I want something that says that you are a dear friend to me but can indicate a FUTURE romantic relationship. I just don't want to creep her out.

how about:

"Remembering you, ..."

or

"Thinking of you, ..."?

or simply "Lot's of Love, ..." --that way you can "sound" chummy and informal while at the same time planting a thought (i.e. of "Love") in her brain : )

Or you could simply sign your name in cursive.

so if you don't want to have future relationship just write 'Take care' that sound more harmless.

or just end it with Cheers

"Cheers" would usually sound a bit affected in American English. Though affectation is not always a bad thing. It's something one should always be aware of, though. :)

oh how sweet! Yes, I'd agree with "thinking of you.."

I dunno. "Thinking of you" does have kinda romantic connotations, I think.

How bout using some foreign words like: Ti amo or te amo. I love you

Je t'aime mon amour. I love you my love

You could always use something like:
