1. A window in the roof of a car, which can slide (or otherwise) open.

1. I assume there is a lever inside the car so you can open the sunroof without going outside.

(Note: my car has no sunroof)

Could the lever be the handbrake?
Or maybe the one for the gearbox?

I believe there's usually a button for the sunroof.

I would suggest not driving the car until you know what the lever is for.
