American Literary Periods!

Hi guys. I need to know the American Literary movements particulary in the 17th cntury and 18th century. Does every one has two halfs, and every half century has movements. I am really confused of this point!

I would have helped if I know the answer to your questions. Unfortunately I dont. However, I suggest you google the topic. There should be a lot of info about it on the internet. I hope this helps a little.
