wow catalan is easy to understand, but it sounds like a gay version of spanish.
PEDRO   Monday, January 24, 2005, 10:40 GMT

Sure this guy would like "Big Moustache Pepe" should come back as president of the government.

Just one remark concerning "parole": there was a French song in the sixties or seventies (as I remember, sung by a man or a woman, but I don't know the names) whose title and refrain was "Parole ,parole, parole". I understand that means something like "Blah, blah, blah".

LOL. They sounds like big, polished, stubborn gay men and the women sound like... like.... umm...they sound like... something very bad, haunting in fact.

Also i've never heard taht slang term 'partir el culo' before but i like it a lot, and it made me laugh a truckload.

"Lamer" means to suck in Spanish.
Nosaltres (we) is pronounced with a schwa sound. Our nice new friend, sucking Pedro, has no idea whatsoever what a schwa is. If he pretends to learn English well he might as well know that the "schwa" is absolutely necessary if he doesn't want to sound like Speedy Gonzalez. "
Nuzaltrës" (we also make the difference between "s" and double "ss" something the Castilian Spaniards lost centuries ago and the simple Spanish phonetic system is the main reason why they have so many phonetic problems when learning other languages. Anyway, it doesn't really matter as long as they get understood.
Serious studies state that the percentage of gays and lesbians is exactly the same in London, New York, Madrid and Barcelona. I have no problems with gays and although I'm a Catalan hetero guy with two teenage children I would love my son or daughter all the more should they be gay. It's bad enough with so much homophobic culture in the world.
As you can see some people just can't understand that there are different cultures and languages within a country. I can assure that "sticks and stones may hurt my bones but your words will never hurt me."
Obviously, as a native Catalan speaker, I find my language to be the most beautiful in the world. Don't we all and isn't that the normal thing?
Ara, lladreu com a gossos si voleu... Now, bark as dogs if you wish...

To "Lamer",

They are crazy, those spaniards. They got the devil under the skin.
Miquel   Monday, January 24, 2005, 16:52 GMT

Sei uno stronzo, Lamer. Me ne frego un cazzo, delle tue opinioni.
Guido.   Monday, January 24, 2005, 16:56 GMT

Guido   Monday, January 24, 2005, 17:11 GMT

In francese sarebbe "Paroles, paroles". L'ho sentita anche in portoghese: "Palavras, palavras".

Sono d'accordo. Lui è un "troll". Mi dispiace, non so dire "troll" in italiano.

Miquel, sei tu italiano? Miquel non è un nome comune. Michele, no? Sto imparando italiano. Sembra che tu possa parlare italiano e inglese bene.
Tiffany   Monday, January 24, 2005, 17:14 GMT
Anche tu, Guido! Sei italiano?
Miquel   Monday, January 24, 2005, 17:36 GMT

Ciao, Tiffany,

Non sono italiano, sono maiorchino, dunque catalano. E, come maiorchino, mi sento molto vicino dell'Italia.

Miquel é in italiano, naturalmente, Michele.

Salute a te, Tiffany.
