Dutch language
Has the Dutch language become completely useless? Most Dutch people I speak to speak fluent English. When the older generations die out, do you think the Dutch language will die with them?
I guess there is still Belgium, but still, who wants to learn a language for half of a country?
Dutch English while good enough for casual speech is not perfect, their Dutch accent is pretty strong: compare with Ireland.
In Puerto Rico, the locals can speak English too, but it does not make them any less Spanish-speaking. Dutch-people speak Dutch between themselves, not English, unlike most Irish people in Ireland, who speak English as their 1st language.

It's a karma for them being anti-French and pro-English starting from the 17th century even though at that time French is Europe's lingua franca and English played lesser role than French, Italian, and German but still the Dutch even though the English bullied them but surprisingly supported the English interest much more that their own.
And now, the Flemish and Afrikaners are fuming mad because the Dutch do not even react when Dutch was replaced by English for masteral degree in University of Leiden. The Dutch are really spineless. How could they allow English to dominate them even on their own soil.

As soon as you allow English as your main language in Holland, it will be the end of the Netherlands as we know it.
Every country that has allowed English to become the official lanuage of their country have been swamped by immigrants from Africa, Pakistan, India, Banglades etc. As soon as you allow English as the official language in Holland you will get all the scum from the former English colonies going there. Better to keep Dutch and keep the scum out!
