A bimbo can mean either a woman of loose morals (sexually promiscuous or one who appears to be), an airhead, or both, like the late Anna Nicole Smith.

I don't think bimbo means a slut at all... But I'm only 22, so maybe in the 80s or something it was used to mean a slut... When I hear bimbo I think of a typical blonde sorority girl who is an idiot... Nothing vulgar though...
