leena, boy

I think you both are the oldest member and participant of this forum, I go through your problems, suggestions, and implement some of the advise also. But still i am struggling with my english. will you please be kind enough to extend some new tips to me so that i can speak english fluently. My problem is that when ever i try to speak english, i broke in between the sentence and feel like a dumb, my mind stops responding and now i scare to start speaking in english.

Thank all for your show me the way to learn English, but could you please also give me some advise on how to brush up my written English.

Because some of my friends think that my letters have lots of mistake including grammer and wrong tense. And my expression always makes them feel confusion. So how can I improve my written English, I need your help, thanks.

Well, just practice, Ken. For instance, if I may correct your post's wording:

Thank YOU all for SHOWING me HOW to learn English, but could you please also give me some adviCe on how to brush up my written English.

Because some of my friends think that my letters have lots of mistakeS including grammAr and USING THE wrong tense. And my expressionS always COFUSE them. So how can I improve my written English? I need your help. Thanks.

You're just making very small mistakes in word choices and tenses, but they do make a reader stumble through what you're trying to say. Perhaps reading books or magazines aloud will help you get more of a feel for how English speakers naturally put sentences together.

Hey Uriel, thank you for your message and I will follow your suggestions to spend more time to read books and magazines in English. Thanks

Dear all,

My special thanks to Boy and Leena who have been very supportive,
and helpful. I have literally gone through each and every post of yours for last two hours. It is really amazing that how you have been working hard to get this level. I am impressed. I have to say that it is a really good and effective forum for pople who are planning to learn English.

Well done Leena, having read your post from the beginning I think you have achived a lot.

Cynaide, I have a same problem as you. English is my second language,
I have been learning English for nearly six years. But i have to say that I did not put much effort as Boy and Leena did. Though I speak resonably
good Englsh, I still find it very hard to extend my communication. As Cynaide mentioned I also get stuck in the middle of the conversation and get myself embarassed so many times. If anyone overcomes these kind of problems please write your tips to help us.

Thanks to all.

HI Leena,

I visited the site u had told the visiters of this site to visit (www.fluentzy.com)

Its a good site and there are some guidelines given in respect of the books available for purchase.
From those guidelines itself i have learnt a new word. so while reading the guidelines also should help us in learning new words and memorizing them too.

Thanks Leena for ur advice
Thanks Boy for ur advice too. I am planning to start reading newspapers as adviced by you.

I am not interested in browsing internet everyday but almost whole day I was browsing net for the website in which i can get some tips and/or guidance to learn how to speak english fluently.

Boy keep advicing us. (leena and myself )

Bye.

Hey friends,
V all recieve forwarded emails like friend emails or love emails or any general emails which contains some text and in that text there are few words of which v may not know the meaning.
I have started writing down in my diary the words which are new for me and beside that word the meaning of that words. If possible try to make a phrase and write beside that word which is a good exercise to remember the words which is new for u.

Try to surve to different different sites every day and read the contents and as when u come across some new words try to write them. Write 5 or more words a day and read them dialy in the morg or b4 going to bed.

It really helps to improve on english and to mugup new words as well.
I have started this exercise. Hope u u'll also follow the same.
